My Journey at InnMall: From Backend Developer to Project and Product Manager
In late August 2023, I joined InnMall as a backend developer. At that time, the InnMall project, an online marketplace, had not yet been launched. Reflecting on this period, I remember thinking, "We were building something from the ground up, and the stakes were high. It was both exciting and challenging."
I worked alongside a Senior developer as we built the core of the system. The Senior developer handled most of the initial development, laying the foundation for the project. My role was to continue the work by refining and expanding the system's logic, optimizing performance, implementing new features, and ensuring platform stability. As I took on these tasks, I often reminded myself, "The devil is in the details—every line of code counts."
During this time, I also provided support to the Project Manager, leveraging my previous experience in this role. "Balancing both technical and management responsibilities taught me the importance of seeing the bigger picture while never losing sight of the finer details," I realized early on. This experience allowed me to deepen my technical expertise while also gaining insight into the importance of team coordination and task planning.
As we approached November, my efforts were recognized, and I was offered the opportunity to take on the responsibilities of Project Manager, in addition to my role as Backend Developer. "It was a pivotal moment in my career," I recall, "The challenge was immense, but it also opened new doors for personal and professional growth."
By March, thanks to the successful completion of tasks and demonstrated results, I was entrusted with more responsibilities as both Project Manager and Product Manager. Now, I am involved not only in project management but also in the strategic development of the product, making key decisions and guiding the team toward achieving our goals. "Leading the charge on both fronts—technical and strategic—has been incredibly rewarding," I reflect. "It's a testament to the hard work and dedication that our team puts in every day."
My journey at InnMall is a story of how teamwork, a drive for improvement, and a willingness to take on new challenges can lead to success. "Looking back, I am proud to be part of this project and to contribute to its growth and development. The journey has been nothing short of transformative."
