The Evolution of the Project Manager Role in the InnPay Project: From Management to Technical Integration
InnPay is an innovative platform created for Muslim investors and entrepreneurs, founded on the principles of Islamic finance. As the Project Manager and a backend developer, I focused on developing complex logic and mathematical computations that ensure the project's compliance with Shariah principles and guarantee the ethical nature of all investment decisions.
In my role as Project Manager, I oversaw the entire development process, from conception to implementation. “My role involved not only managing the project but also designing and integrating complex mathematical models and algorithms necessary to ensure adherence to Shariah law,” I explain.
One of the primary tasks was developing algorithms to assess the compliance of investment projects with Islamic standards. This involved considering aspects such as the prohibition of riba (interest), gharar (speculation), and ensuring fairness and transparency. “Creating accurate algorithms to check for adherence to these principles was a challenging task, requiring deep mathematical knowledge and a meticulous approach,” I share.
Significant attention was also given to calculations related to profit and loss distribution. We developed a system that accommodates Islamic profit distribution principles such as mudarabah (partnership) and murabaha (trade). “Each calculation and verification must account for the specific features of Islamic financial instruments, adding an extra level of complexity to the platform's logic”, I add.
As Project Manager, I ensured the integration of these complex algorithms into the platform and oversaw that all processes adhered to high standards and Shariah norms. “Every decision and computation underwent rigorous scrutiny to guarantee compliance with Shariah principles”, I emphasize.
